Summary: Great room with an amazing view to the sunsets, 6th floor, gulf front suite. We stayed for 5 days to celebrate our 60th anniversary and were not disappointed. Living only 5 miles away, we opted not to travel for our celebration and they made it very special. Without exception, the entire staff was great. Special mention to Stephanie, a server at the pool. She made our day, when we rented a lounger, with her stellar service, while attending to all other guests. This visit opened our eyes to a new way to get away for a few days and we will definitely be doing this again.

Summary: Everything was great. Staff, food, views, amenities were all very wonderful. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because they didn’t have the room type we booked available. We booked a King Bed Spacious room weeks in advance, but at the time of check-in all they had were standard double-queen bed rooms.

Summary: Absolutely Beautiful! We had an amazing stay at Opal Sands Resort! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location right on Clearwater Beach. Our Gulf view was absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sunsets from the balcony was one of the highlights of our trip. 🌅🌴 The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the resort had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The pool and beach access were fantastic, and having restaurants and bars right on the property was so convenient. The views, location, service, and overall atmosphere made this an unforgettable stay. We absolutely loved Opal Sands and would definitely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: It was an amazing experience and everyone was very enthusiastic and helpful! The only thing is that we saw a mouse outside on the pool deck outside the dining room during the day.

Summary: We just got back from a few nights at Opal Sands and already planning our next trip. Quick tip: ask for a higher floor if you can — we were on the 12th and the views were incredible, especially at sunset. Opal Sands is connected to Opal Sol and you can use amenities at both, but honestly we ended up preferring the pool and restaurants at Opal Sands. There’s a better breeze off the water, and the poolside restaurant was excellent — we had the seaguini and it did not disappoint. On weekends they do a full breakfast buffet, plus you can order things made to your liking — cook-to-order eggs, grits, the works. Rooms were spotless. Housekeeping came through twice a day, and they leave a chocolate on your pillow at night, which was a nice touch. Every floor has free water, snacks, and ice available too, so you’re never far from a refill. Overall a really relaxing stay with great service and even better views. Will definitely be back.

Summary: First class resort that doesn’t look to grab every dollar from you. Free waters and snacks everywhere, awesome restaurants. Sea-guini Perfect for breakfast lunch’s and dinner. Very convenient walkway bridge from lobby to visit the other property opel sol. We will definitely be back

Summary: We wanted to lay out and not do anything this weekend, so we chose the opal sands. The resort was beautiful and looked just like the pics….wish there was an adult pool, too many kids for our taste. Oh well. Bed was not the most comfortable, but again nothing like your own bed. Wish there was more options of restaurants, but enough on the beach to pick from.
