Summary: My family really enjoyed our stay at this beach resort. The location is great, with beautiful ocean views (saw manatee, shark, and many bird varieties from our room balcony). It had good access to a clean and active beach. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax throughout the stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The resort facilities were excellent and well maintained. The food was decent with many good options within walking distance.

Summary: Got the Gulf view and Sunset was amazing. Restaurants and bars onsite are great. There are also other things to do within walking distance if you choose to leave.

Summary: Our 2-night stay at Opal Sands was amazing, enjoyed it very much. It was a beautiful hotel right on the beach...Rented a cabana for the day, and soaked in some sun. The pool was also wonderful. Will definitely go back there.

Summary: The Opal Sands is a gorgeous hotel with impeccable customer service. I received text messages while on site from staff asking how my stay was and if there was anything they could do to make it better. The pool provides a front row view of the gulf and we saw dolphins and manatees right from our pool lounger! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. My son loved the fitness center, too. We both enjoyed the balcony with comfortable hairs that allowed us to leisurely watch the boats at sunset. This is the best hotel on the beach’

Summary: Lovely location. Booked a suite with kitchenette, but it was very basic. No utensils or crockery provided. Don’t order the pizza- we ordered from room service and it was inedible- about an inch thick with cheese and very sloppy. Carpets and rugs were dirty in the suite, chips were left on the rug from a previous guest and weren’t vacuumed. Lacked basic amenities for a hotel of this standard and cost.
